Client Centered Care in Toronto, Mississauga and Ottawa
Integracare is a Canadian home care company that provides nurse-led care at home for older adults in Toronto, Mississauga and the Ottawa region. Care is arranged privately, planned by a registered nurse and delivered by caregivers we screen, train and supervise.
Our services
What Integracare does
Integracare provides personal support, nursing care, dementia care, palliative care, wound care, physiotherapy and massage therapy at home. Care can be a few hours a week, live-in care, or 24-hour home care with caregivers on shift day and night.
Registered nurses plan and supervise all of it. Personal support workers, registered practical nurses, physiotherapists and registered massage therapists carry out the visits, and each one is matched to the client.
Where We Work
Three Regions, One Standard of Care
Integracare works out of three offices: Toronto and Mississauga across the Greater Toronto Area, and a local team serving the Ottawa region.
Ottawa families get the same services, supervised the same way. Start with Ottawa home care, or go straight to dementia care, palliative care, personal support workers, nursing care, 24/7 home care, or companionship and homemaking.

The Integracare In-Home Care Philosophy
It’s never an easy decision to seek out home health care services, whether it’s for yourself, a family member, or a friend. We understand your concerns and do everything possible to give you peace of mind.
We understand that most people would prefer to age in place and receive care in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. Care in the environment of your choosing can be the key to aging well.

What sets our care apart
What makes Integracare different
A registered nurse leads the care
Every care plan begins with a free in-home assessment by a registered nurse, and an RN keeps oversight of that plan as health needs change. The nurse is accountable for the care that follows.
Caregivers are matched to the household
Our coordination team chooses caregivers for the skills and the temperament each household needs, and aims to keep the same caregivers with a family so the faces stay familiar.
Quality certified by an independent body
Integracare holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, assessed by Intertek. Excellence Canada has recognized the company with its Canadian Business Excellence Award every year from 2019 to 2026.
Care around the clock, and same-day when it is urgent
Our offices are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays, so a call at any hour reaches a person, and care itself is delivered around the clock. When a family is in an urgent situation, care can begin the same day.
Providing home care since 1991
Integracare has cared for Ontario families for over 30 years, from offices in Toronto, Mississauga and Ottawa. A Winnipeg office opens in fall 2026.
Families can follow the care
The Family Room, our online portal, shows the visit schedule and the caregiver notes as they are recorded. Invited family members can follow the care from wherever they are.
Who we help
The families who come to us
Most families reach us at a point of change: a diagnosis, a fall, a discharge date, or the moment one person can no longer manage alone.
- Older adults who want to stay in their own home
- Families managing dementia or Alzheimer’s disease at home
- People coming home from hospital or surgery
- Families arranging palliative and end-of-life care at home
- People living with chronic conditions, limited mobility or wounds that need a nurse
- Households that need overnight, live-in or 24-hour cover
How it works
How Integracare works
- 1
You get in touch
Call the office nearest you or the toll-free line, or send the form on this site. Our intake team responds within one business day. Tell us the situation is urgent and we will prioritize it the same day.
- 2
A registered nurse visits
The assessment happens in the home and costs nothing. The nurse looks at health needs, the home itself and what the family is already managing.
- 3
You receive a care plan and meet your caregivers
The plan sets out what each visit covers, who provides it and how often. Coordination then selects caregivers for the skills and the fit the household needs, and introduces them wherever there is time before care starts.
- 4
A care manager stays with you
Your care manager is the person you call. Invited family members can follow visits and read caregiver notes in the Family Room as they are recorded, and an RN reviews the care as it goes.
The team behind Integracare
The people accountable for your care
Integracare is led from Toronto. Lee Grunberg is President and Chief Executive Officer. Lisa Sundarsingh, RN, is Vice President of Care Operations, and Jessica Isaac, RPN, is Director of Care.
Bethel McMaster, RN, runs intake, which is the team a family speaks to first, and Kristine McGinn leads our Ottawa region. You can read about everyone who leads the company on our team page.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Who is Integracare?
Integracare is a Canadian home care company founded in 1991. We provide nurse-led care at home for older adults in Toronto, Mississauga and the Ottawa region. Families arrange and pay for the care privately.
Where does Integracare provide care?
We have offices in Toronto, Mississauga and Ottawa, and a Winnipeg office opens in fall 2026. Caregivers work wherever a client lives, including private homes, retirement residences and long-term care homes. We also stay with clients during a hospital admission.
What does nurse-led home care mean?
A registered nurse assesses every client at home before care begins, writes the care plan, and keeps oversight of it as health needs change. Personal support workers and nurses deliver the care under that supervision.
Is Integracare accredited?
Integracare holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, assessed by the independent body Intertek. The company has also received the Canadian Business Excellence Award from Excellence Canada each year from 2019 to 2026, and has been Great Place to Work Certified since 2021.
How does Integracare screen its caregivers?
Caregivers are screened through reference and background checks, receive annual medicals, and carry photo identification on every visit. Training continues once they are hired, including dementia courses run with the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.
Does Integracare provide care at night, on weekends and on holidays?
Yes. Our offices answer calls at any hour, every day of the year, and care is arranged and delivered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays, from single overnight visits to live-in and continuous 24-hour care.
Can families see what happens during a visit?
Yes. The Family Room is our online portal, where invited family members can see the visit schedule and read the caregiver notes for their loved one as caregivers record them. Relatives living at a distance use it to follow the care.
How quickly can care start?
A registered nurse usually visits within a few days of the first call, and care begins soon after. When a situation is urgent, such as a hospital discharge or a family caregiver who can no longer continue, care can begin the same day. Tell us it is urgent when you call and we will treat it that way.
How do I start care with Integracare?
Call the office nearest you or our toll-free line, or send the form on this website. Someone from the intake team responds within one business day and arranges a free in-home assessment with a registered nurse.
