We firmly believe that an integral part of being a healthcare professional is ongoing education in order to expand ones knowledge and skills and to stay abreast of changes in the healthcare field. Additionally, increased and current professional education and support will enable Caregivers to handle the challenges of changing and complex Client care needs. To this end, we provide an ever growing number of classes to help our Integracare Home Healthcare Caregivers maintain their skills.
Some courses are regulated and require certification annually or biannually.
Other courses are available to help INTEGRAcare Caregivers develop their skillset to enable them to care for Clients with specific diseases or medical conditions.

| Dementia Care Courses – Nevvon | INTEGRAcare offers 2 specialized programs in Dementia care through our Online Education Partner – Nevvon. Both courses are Alzheimer Association Certified and introduces Caregivers to common forms of dementia and creates an understanding of what we mean by “responsive behaviours.”

The U-First Basics , U-First Advanced, Palliative Care & GPA Courses are a Certified Courses offered by the Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto.
**Integracare has also partnered with a leading Online Education provider – Nevvon to enhance the education of its new hires and upskill its Caregivers to strengthen its position as Canada’s premier home care provider. Nevvon’s easy to use, interactive e-training platform puts important education modules in our Caregivers’ hands and allows them to study at their pace and with flexibility to accommodate their schedules.
